The Thread Whisperers
The Thread Whisperers the Guild’s youth group. Participants range from 7 to 17 years of age and are members of the national organization as well as our local Guild. They work on small projects, generally involving ever expanding techniques; entries for the Saanich Fair where they have had great success; and projects they work on independently. Once a project is completed we move on to something new. There are projects for the beginner as well as the more experienced stitchers. Embers and Guide Workshops
The Embroiderers’ Guild of Victoria is pleased to offer a workshop for Embers, Guides and Scouts. We will be meeting at 7130 West Saanich Road. We will be teaching a number of basic stitches with their variations, worked with wool threads.
Sadly, we’ve had to cancel this year’s workshops due to low sign up. We will be back in 2027.
