Canvas SIG
The Canvas Sig meets on the 2nd Wednesday from 1-3pm of each month to work on canvas projects. We also plan regular pre-meeting outings to Don Mee’s. Contact victoria@eac-acb.ca for more information.
Lace Interest SIG
The lace group meets monthly to work on individual projects. Contact Margaret Merner at 250-384-6059 or Margaret.Merner@outlook.com for details. Newcomers are most welcome! A set of basic lessons is available at nominal cost, and starter equipment may be borrowed.
The Lace SIG will meet at Margaret’s home from 7-10 pm (fourth Wednesday).
Rapt Threads
The Rapt Threads group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm at Diane Caleb’s home. We are continuing to explore design possibilities and welcome any EGV members who would like to come along and try out something different. Our focus is to challenge ourselves by designing and using experimental stitch techniques on our designs.
Sampler Saturday
Sampler Saturday usually meets on the third Saturday of each month from September to June at 1pm. Dates and times may vary. We meet in the HUB at Broad View United (3703 St. Aidan’s Street). Our focus is on samplers and related topics, including needlework accessories and “smalls”. Each meeting usually includes a program and stitching time. Our annual fee goes towards rental expenses.

Hardang-it Stitchers
The Hardang-it Stitchers meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 pm and the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 pm via Zoom to work on Hardanger embroidery projects. Contact Barbara Gilbert at 250-477-1583 or Barbara_Gilbert@telus.net for more information.
